Bacteriostatic water is purified water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, an agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria. The preservative allows a sealed multi-dose vial to be accessed more than once. It is widely used in laboratory, clinical and compounding settings.
We supply 3 mL and 10 mL multi-dose vials, available individually or in packs of 3, 5 and 10. Larger standing orders can be arranged on request.
Store sealed vials at room temperature, away from direct light. Once a vial has been opened, follow standard practice for multi-dose vials and discard within the period indicated on the label.
